Forum - Hardware - AMD or Intel?

I'm still figuring out witch processor is the best. ATM I'm playing on a AMD Athlon64 3400+ 2.4Ghz. I like it very much but still.
I hear people say: amd is better warm resistance, intel is faster so amd is actually better to overclock, so better for gamers.
What is your opinion?
